Error! Help please.

Thread needs solution

I haven't been able to complete a successful backup with Acronis 2019.  I continue to get this error: Failed to enumerate directory 'Macintosh HD:/Library/Application Support/com.apple.TCC/'. It may be corrupted or does not exist.

It restarts on its own and then times out again with errors.  I'm backing up to a NAS device.  Any ideas?

You appear to be using the MAC version of ATI 2019. Most people using this forum have Windows based systems. You are more likely to get an informed response if you post on the MAC forum.

Hello SouthFLGuy,

Seems like you have Mojave and did not update Acronis True Image to the new build.

Please, do it and follow the instruction to move the application to Security settings, otherwise Mojave backup will not work due to macOS permissions.

Hello - yes, I did have the latest build and granted access as outlined but it's still occurring.

SouthFLGuy, could you check my reply here and try the same instruction?

So I went ahead and reinstalled 2019 and it's now backing up as I speak without any errors.  I\ndeed it was 3 files that were needed to be included - I had dragged the program icon from my applications folder instead of from the install prompt.

The only issue I see so far is that it's telling me the total backup is nearly 3TB. Not sure why - my drive is 1TB and I've used about 350GB.  I excluded my Google Drive FileStream and any other cloud files from the backup just in case it's counting that cloud storage.  I can move my conversation to the Mac forum if more appropriate. Thank you for your help.

Spending more than 10 hours (myself and remote connected chat group) still I can not run it because of "Insufficient Privileges" error and when I tried to contact support it ask for registration which my copy is registered

Hello nasser ahmadi,

Sorry to hear of the issues you had to experience to install our software. I see that you had a support ticket 03481280. One of the support engineers requested some diagnostic information to investigate the issue, but unfortunately we didn't hear back from you. Is the issue still relevant? Do you need help? Please feel free to send me a personal message (click on Send message under my picture) and I'll raise a new support ticket for you.

Thank you,

Had the same problem.

I eventually sloved it by:

1. Opening the installer/dmg file

2. Dragging the app into the applications folder within the dmg window

3. Selecting replace the application when asked if I want to keep the existing

4. Removing the acronis app from the full disk access privacy section

5. Re-add the application to full disk access privacy section

Hi Everyone,

I too am getting the error "The last backup attempt failed. Failed to enumerate directory 'Macintosh HD:/Library/Application Support/com.apple.TCC/'. It may be corrupted or does not exist. Please check the disk for errors." on my recently upgraded Mojave iMac.

I do NOT get the error message to grant access. I am using ATI 2018 perpetual license. What must I do to get this to work? Hopefully I will not be forced to move from a perpetual license version to a subscription-based ATI 2019.

Thanks for any help getting ATI 2018 to work!

Chuck

Chuck, please see forum topic here where another user with ATI 2018 did get this working.
