How to launch the rescue media via DVD Drive on laptop with UEFI bios.

Thread solved

I have no problems bringing up the rescue media via the DVD Drive on a Legacy bios desktop machine. Not so lucky with a Laptop ACER Aspire E1-572 which has UEFI bios. More specifically, I want to test the rescue media I just created with ATI 2019 for the laptop on a DVD.    UEFI shows secure boot enabled.  I also changed boot ordering to put in first place the option called USB CDROM.  I then shut down the laptop pressing the shift key as I did so.  Unfortunately, the rescue media screen via the DVD Drive doesn't come up, just the regular screen.   Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In my limited experience with Acer laptops and rescue media, it has been necessary to turn off Secure Boot before it would allow booting of that media otherwise it simply ignored it and booted straight to Windows!
