I want my money back!!!

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I've purchased my Acronis True Image on 23 August 2018 and just after that my laptop began to boot very slowly. One month after that I experienced severe slow restart - 8 minutes. I uninstalled the Acronis but I still suffered from slow reboot - 130 seconds instead of 25seconds. Meanwhile I tried to repair the slow boot using EasyRecovery, just after that I got blue blank screen. I couldn't start my pc at all. So, I decided to use my acronis backup to restore the configuration. Still blank blue screen. I asked the support what is going on??? And the nightmare began. Slow responses, sending of logs, slow responses, asking again and again to send them the same log files. Meanwhile I managed to recover my PC using again Easyrecovery and their snapshot. But the Acronis Backup didn't help!!! Acronis support also didn't help. I had to find myself ways to recover my system. Next I offer to Acronis support to look into my ETL boot logs to see why I still boot slowly. Defintely everything began with the installation of Acronis. They first tried to lie me that
" Acronis True Image 2019 is an integrated software suite that ensures the security of all of the information on your PC and it will not make any changes in your PC related to boot without your confirmation. "
I sent them a link that they confirmed that such issue exists - https://kb.acronis.com/content/59811
And they began the same scenario from the beginning.: "I understand your concern, this must be very frustrating." blablablabla
So, I've asked them to return my 360euro paid for 5 PC's for one year. And they refused. Yes, I know 30 days period. But they ruined my PC, their software didn't recover my "backed up" PC, and their support was extremely useless. And actually I used only 2 months their crappy software, one month spent in communication with their slow support.

At least give my money back!!!

Mitko, welcome to these User Forums.

We are just users here, the same as yourself, though I have never experienced the type of performance problems that you describe in your post and have been running many different versions of ATI on my computers over the past 10+ years, including running ATI 2019 on my current computers with Windows 10 64-bit and latest October 2019 Update 1809.

I understand a little of your frustration with the impact you have seen with your laptop and would be happy to try to offer help if you still have ATI 2019 installed and want to spend any more time doing this?

If you are 100% sure that you want nothing more to do with Acronis products, and want to pursue getting a refund, then I can only suggest contacting Renata Gubaydullina | Product manager, Acronis True Image - who can better respond on behalf of Acronis - use the 'Send Message' button to send a private message to Renata.
