Missing a @task@.tib file

Thread needs solution

I made a full system backup some months ago.

When I try to validate it today, I get an error message like "backup @task@.tib couldn't be opened ..." but the file I am trying to validate is named differently (see attached screenshot).

However, mounting is possible.

I renamed the backup task some time ago. Maybe this causes the problem although I would find that quite strange. As the help states, validating checks wether or not a backup file can be restored. This should not depend on the task definition.

So there are two questions:
What causes the error and how can I fix it?
Will I be able to restore the backup file if needed?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Where is this backup stored, external drive, NAS?  It could be that the task has lost the destination location for some reason.  re-selecting the destination in the task options may correct the issue.
