Recover - how to turn off scanning for available tib files

Thread solved

I built a ATI v2019 (v17750) WinPE boot iso.

Booting that and selecting Recover, ATI starts to scan all local drives for available TIB files.

I do NOT want that.

Is that configurable? Where?

Andre, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry this is not configurable but is the default behaviour.  The only suggestion I can offer is that you only connect the single drive with the backup file(s) that you want to work with and leave any other drives disconnected.

Please submit Feedback direct to Acronis using the tool provided in the GUI to let them know that you too dislike this default scan of all drives!

Steve, thank you for the quick reply. It saves me so much time looking for a setting that is not there.

Disconnecting some hardware is unfortunately not a workable solution in my case.

I will stick to a previous build.

If you decide to upgrade to ATI 2020 this behaviour is no longer present. At last with the current build.
