Taskbar icon not working despite Active Protection being on

Thread needs solution

Acronis True Image version 2019 Build 18100 on Windows 10.0.17763 Enterprise x64.

Despite Active Protection being on, the respective taskbar icon shows as inactive.

Therefore, I'm missing all functionality from there (that I'd have via right-clicking).

Stopping and restarting the Active Protection Service does not resolve the issue.

NB: In some very rare cases, when I try stopping the Active Protection Service, I get an 1053 Error.

Whenever this happens, and then I select to start the service, the taskbar icon works as it's supposed to!

I can only suggest trying a Repair Install of ATI 2019 using the latest new build that was released recently and is available in your Acronis Account download page.
