Acronis Stopped Within a Month | Next back-up Not Until 2029

Thread needs solution

The Acronis True Image 2020 product stopped working within a month.

Next back-up not until 2029. Very frustrating.

When I log in to my Acronis account online and I click on support, then go to technical assistance, it tells me to please register my product. When I try to register my product it says that serial number is already in use. It's the same serial number from the e-mail that Acronis sent me.

The product lasted for less than a month. Now, it wants to wait until 2029 to do my next back-up and I can't find any way at all to tell the program it's full of crap. Nothing shows up on my "Product" page. It only says "Specify license keys" and "Add keys", but when I try it says that serial number is already registered.

I think somebody goofed and think that somebody may be somebody other than me.

Now I have a boat anchor of sorts. But I'd rather actually have a boat anchor, even though I don't have a boat, rather that have back-up software that doesn't want to work until 2029 and leaves me unprotected.

Chuck, welcome to these public User Forums.

Please send a private message to Ekaterina Surkova | Forum Moderator who can check your serial against your registered email address to see if there is some disconnect there?

As for the next backup being 2029, sorry but would need much more information but would guess that the registration / activation issue needs to be resolved first!
