When is there new version of Acronis True Image being released?

Brian, Acronis True Image is now finished as far as any new versions being released!

Acronis have moved on from True Image by rebranding it as Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office and bundling in a raft of cyber security / antivirus / ransomware protection features along with making it subscription licensed only!

If you want a later version of Acronis then the above is really your only option into the future as far as anyone knows at this point.

There are alternative perpetual licensed backup products available from other vendors that remain focussed only on backup, recovery & cloning without all the extra bloat.  See forum topic: Reflecting on a Post-ATI World where this has been discussed by users in some depth.

See KB 68375: Licensing change FAQ: Acronis products switch to subscription-only licenses - where this unwelcome change was announced!

The only Subscription software I have on my PC is Quicken. I am so deeply invested/married to Quicken that I have no problem with that, particularly as each year I can watch for a sale where I can get Quicken Deluxe for <$30 vs the $60 retail.

As for ATI, I have used that almost since its first appearance, though I can't say I'm an Expert given I have had so very few failures and thus Restores. But I have many many times used the ability to Mount old .tib files and look-or-copy-out files in that way.

In the end, I have ATI2020 and now can say I am glad for it, because it works (I've already had a crash that Acronis saved my butt over) but here's my thing:

I have a Dell laptop running W7Prox64 and have run it for some 5 years now, and it does absolutely everything I need. Further, we have two houses and E-Port docking stations at both and I move this one computer between them. Finally, I have a spare laptop and could restore an ATI backup to it at any time my primary might smoke.

So I won't be "upgrading" any time soon, if ever (yes I'm old).
