Backup multiple partitions in cloud

Thread needs solution

I use multiple partitions on all my machines and always have. I understand this is not as advantageous as it once was when I used gho to replace OS's as if they were generic while the other partitions were generic. My point is that I'm probably too old and too lazy to move to a one drive system which I think WIN 10 prefers.

I run the following partitions:. FAT:; C:; APPS:; FILES:, MEDIA: and BACKUP:  which are usually on 1 or 2 tb drives

Can I emulate this setup in the cloud and backup.incrementally?

Thank you

Mike

Mike, there is no reason why you cannot create separate backups of each different partition to the Acronis Cloud, assuming that you subscribe to sufficient cloud storage space to accomodate the backup files.

The key advantage of backups to the Cloud are that there is only ever one initial Full backup uploaded, after which the backups use a hybrid delta type incremental backup and versioning to capture only changed data and upload it.

You can configure retention rules in the Advanced settings for each cloud backup task, where you set the number of versions to keep and how long to keep backup versions.

Steve is correct; for many years I have been doing separate backups to Acronis Cloud for SSD with the OS, another for my data partitions (held on RAID 5 array) a partition containing installation files for all my Apps (also on the RAID 5 Array). This allows customising of frequency of backups to reflect how often the content changes. [I do the say to NAS.]
