Backup speed 0 Kbps
I just upgraded to Acronis 2020 on my ThinkPad X1 Yoga. My 4TB external drive is not getting adequate backup since then. My internal SSD seems to backup OK (to cloud) but when Acronis is backing up the external drive to the same cloud, the status message does not provide the ticker of file names I would expect, nor does it give me any estimate of time remaining. It does update the "Backing up" number by 500MB or so every half hour or so. When I look at the "activity" tab for previous runs it says "Speed: 0 Kbps" and "Data to recover: 0 bytes."
What is going on? I do have MVP Log Viewer, which doesn't show anything too strange. It is missing a log entry for resuming the backup I just re-started. Also my PC gets set 4 hours ahead when I switch from Ubuntu to Windows, so sometimes the times in the log are off because of that.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your suggestions. I am on my fourth attempt with this drive. The first attempt appeared normal. Continually updated status messages about what was happening and overall Mbps. I aborted that attempt, copied a few more folders etc., and the three attempts since then have produced almost no information. They do give me roughly hourly updates about how many GB are backed up (as opposed to continuous updates), but as I said the activity log either says nothing or has a message like "0 Kbps and 0 bytes backed up" even if I run overnight while getting messages above the status bar about 50GB backed up.
When I back up my internal drive to the cloud it works fine.
I'm now three days into attempts to get a back up of my external hard drive, and I'm feeling very exposed because there is no indication this is working or will ever work. I upgraded to premium for this and it seems like a failure.

Do you have another external drive (or NAS) that you can try as a destination? That would at least remove the cloud as a potential source of the problem.
What kind of backup are you performing - Disks and Partitions or Files and Folders?
Is this possibly an incremental or differential backup with nothing new on the drive to back up? I wouldn't expect that to take long, but it might explain the 0Kbs.
