Bootable Media

While making the bootable media on a 1TB external hard drive I get an error message at the end of making the bootable media unable to open the folder. The partition is made but why the error message has it completed the task. I have uploaded the error message and the system information. so you can see the problem.

Richard, as you are using ACPHO when creating the rescue media, then chances are that you have fell foul of a known issue where Acronis now tries to include graphics drivers in the rescue media, including for the Survival Kit, but the size of the drivers exceed the 2GB FAT32 size being used!

The way around this issue is to use a partition manager tool to increase the size of the FAT32 partition to about 5GB, then to allocate a Windows drive letter to the partition.

Once you have a drive letter for the FAT32 partition you can use this with the standard Acronis bootable rescue media builder tool when taking the 'Simple' option and direct the output to that drive letter.

You can also deselect the graphics driver from the build of the media.
