Bug report (maybe after AMD AGESA 1.0.0.5 update)

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I use the last version of Linux recovery tool on a DVD. Until few weeks ago, I was restoring Windows 10 partitions and it was OK. But now, it always crash at the end of recovery. The only significant change is a BIOS update (AGESA 1.0.0.5 on AMD X3900 / X570).

Another things to fix on Linux recovery.

When you select partitions for recovery. It not proposes the right place (it was working on Acronis 2015 or 2016) if only 1 partition fit. And some dialogbox make up to 10 to 15 s to open (when you select a partition like C:)

Fabien, welcome to these public User Forums.

What actual version and build of ATI are you using here?
Is this ATI 2020 build 25700 as for this forum thread?

Did you create the ATI Linux rescue media using the Acronis Rescue Media builder on this same computer from the same version / build of ATI?

If you do have ATI 2020 and want to report a suspected bug in the rescue media then you need to open a Support ticket direct with Acronis as this is a user forum with no official route into that support.

Not many users have AMD X570 chipset, so this may limit the ability of the Acronis community to assist in working out what is going wrong.

In addition to Steve's suggestions and requests, have you tried using the alternative WinRE or WinPE recovery media? They are often better able to cope with "exotic" systems such as yours.
