Cannot add True Image 2020 Survival Kit to more than one external hard drive backup

Thread needs solution

I use three external hard drives for backup - one at computer and two rotate to an off-site location. I cannot get Acronis True Image 2020 to create the survival kit to the second external hard drive. The option is not offered when I deleted 2018 Entire backup scheme and created a new 2020 Entire backup on the second external hard drive. (Haven't returned the third hard drive back to this location yet.) What is the problem? Why can't I get the survival kit on more than one external backup? I use a Windows 10 PC

Sara, welcome to these public User Forums.

There shouldn't be any reason why you cannot create the Survival Kit on multiple different backup drives as far as I am aware.

The option to create a Survival Kit is only offered when you are creating a new Disks & Partitions (or Entire PC) type backup task and are setting the Destination for the task to a suitable external USB drive that can be used for this purpose.

See KB 61639: Acronis True Image 2019 and 2020: how to create Acronis Survival Kit - for more information on the process.
