Error 0x101f6: A format/resize error.

Thread needs solution

I'm cloning my old Kingston 256G M.2 SSD to Kingston Fury 2000G M.2 SSD. I did CHKDSK C: /F and tried manual clone mode but didn't work. I need some help. Thanks a lot.

Hello Chun!

Welcome to the forum.

Before starting, I would suggest that you check the following KB articles about cloning, along with all the prerequisites and instructions:

Please note that the source and target disks should have identical sector sizes.

The error you posted suggests there may be issues with the disks. Please run the disk report. If the report shows any partition displaying the letter 'E,' it means there are errors, and you must fix them or select another disk:

Feel free to update this thread if you have any additional queries.

Best regards.

Chun, your log also shows the following version information:

ATI Demon started. Version: 27.0.1.39615.

If this is correct then you are using the very first version of ACPHO released by Acronis after which there have been 9 further build versions to the current build #40338 that you should be using here!  ACPHO build 40338 was released back in early April 2023 some 5 months ago.

In addition to the advice from Jose to check that both drives use the same sector size, you should upgrade ACPHO to the latest build version.
