Failed to add the backup to the backup list, will not validate, can NOT restore

Thread needs solution

July 2020 bought laptop.  Created boot media (Linux) from ATI 2020 (perpetual license) on my desktop.  Booted laptop from boot media USB before ever booting laptop into Win10.  Created TWO individual full backups onto another larger USB.  Verified as part of backup.  After getting laptop configured, in August 2020 booted from boot media, created a third full backup with validation.  No errors or issues noted.

Windows became corrupt.  In December, booted from boot media on laptop, attempted to restore from one of the three backups on the original backup USB.  NONE will work.

Try to validate from desktop.  Get the following USELESS link.

Event code: 0x01010005+0x01010005+0x01E50015+0x01E5001A+0x0004000E

1. Why does ATI give USELESS links to non-existent pages?

2. How can a backup file not move and nothing change and when you really need it be unusable with no meaningful explanation?

Are you using WinPE based media or the Linux based version for recovery attempts?

Do you have all 3 backup files in the same location on the same disk that you are trying the recovery from?

Can you verify what boot mode your laptop uses, (UEFI or MBR/BIOS)?

It is necessary that you boot the recovery media in the same mode as the source for the backup and recovery.
