Messed up!
So i don't know why but for some reason I thought that when I back up my SSD to a destination HDD that it will just put my back up in that HDD and that I can access it later if I wanted.
The problem is that Acronis ended up wiping all my HDD! Shit has 1 TB of info, but mostly some college docs and some other stuff and I did not know that this was the case :(
Thought Acronis will just back up to destination folder without deleting all my files/programs/infos/docs...
Anyways! Is it possible to recover this info back? I am currently using Recuva and it says it found 380k files and that estimated time left is 5 hour, does this mean their is hope I can actually recover everything I lost? Thanks!

I did the clone... It even warned me it will delete paritions but for some reason I didn't think that meant all files... I am not too good with computers such a big mistake... Been trying to use all kinda recovery options to no hope...
Also does acronis create a recovery image before cloning and if so how would I go about accessing that recovery image?

Sorry, but unless you yourself created a backup of the lost files before doing the clone, then your only hope is if any can be recovered by using other utilities like Recuva etc.
Cloning is always a 1 to 1 relationship, disk 1 is duplicated on disk 2 where everything on disk 2 is wiped as one of the first steps of the process in order to recreate the disk / partition layout from disk 1.
