My backup files are self-destructing !!
Hi,
Incredible but true : I wanted to make a new full backup of my PC on my external 8 Tb HD drive.
On this disk, I had 2 old .tibx backup which were Ok (it was possible to browse inside the backup)
So I made my new backup. At the end, I tried to open the file : "an error occured while opening the backup archive".
Very unpleasant but possible, I deleted this file and made a new backup. Same problem !!
So I rebooted my PC : the last file was always corrupted but one of the older archives who where previously readable had turned corrupted !!!
So, new backup only for my C: drive : seems OK, but after reboot, this new file is corrupted as well !
The last correct backup file I have on my drive is that of my laptop. Curious, no ?
Please help, I can't live without the safety of a good backup!

Thanks a lot Steve for your answer.
My drive is a WD_Black D10, connected directly to my PC by USB
