OneNote displays synch-errormessage after restore
I did a restore with ATI 2020 which went fine, everything running smooth... except Onenote.
When opening Onenote, it usually claims in a small one-line-message on top of the OneNote-Bookl that i should sign into OneNote in order to synch that book. As far as i can see only one book is affected, the other one not.
Interesting is that the content is still synched, even with the errormessage active.
When i click on that message, it simply disappeares, there is no window which lets me put in my credentials, it seems to recognize that the errormessage is wrong.
When checking details of that message in the synch-status-window it says (in german):
Für die Synchronisierung dieses Notizbuchs ist ein Kennwort erforderlich. (Fehlercode: 0x803D0005) Fehler bei der Kommunikation mit dem Endpunkt bei ".../skydocsservice.svc....".; Vom Server wurde der HTTP-Statuscode "401 (0x191)" mit dem Text "Unauthorized" zurückgegeben.; Für die angeforderte Ressource ist eine Benutzerauthentifizierung erforderlich.; Die Vorgangskennung ist ungültig.
(I had to modify the hyperlink within the errormessage as this board does not allow to save this message with a hyperlink in...)
I did sign, sign in, removed the books, reinstalled the books, i did delete all windows Login-Informations in the credential manager... i do see a lot of messages in the internet about this kind of error but not one reports a help which did work.
I know, this is probably a pure OneNote Issue and not an ATI issue, but maybe there is somebody here who as found a solution for that nasty message?
Sorry, I do not use OneNote and also never use a MS Account on my computer systems.
It sounds as if something was out of sync between the status of OneNote prior to your restoring the OS drive and the status it held when the backup image was made, such as credentials had changed or perhaps the version of OneNote had been upgraded etc, but that is purely my speculation / guessing!
