Secure deletions

Thread needs solution

I would love to have the ability in Drive Cleanser to securely erase individual files or folders. For years I have been a legal fiduciary for trusts & disabled veterans. Once those trusts have expired/terminated or records for veterans have reached their retention limits, I would like to be able to securely wipe them. If there is already a way to do this, I haven't found it. System Cleanup doesn't provide the same level of destruction as Drive Cleanser but I don't need to wipe an entire drive or partition.

Karon,

There are lots of free tools available that can fill the gap that exists with the Acronis System Cleanup tool to securely delete your sensitive user files & folders.

See webpages:

1.  Seven Free Ways to Securely Delete Files in Windows

2.  Securely Wipe / Delete Files and Cache History Using CCleaner

3.  10 Free Tools to Permanently Delete Files and Prevent Data Recovery

The above are not in any particular order other than as found via doing a search on Google.

Please use the Feedback tool in the ATI GUI > Help section to let Acronis know of this user requirement to enhance the capability of the System Cleanup tool.
