system backup complete, not sure
Hi I run ATI 2020 buid 22510.
One of my back ups is a C-drive back up.
With a prevoious ATI 2011 version I could perfectly make a system - C drive image, which I could recover to a new HDD and had the complete up and running windows with all applications running in no time. So a real complete 1 to 1 image.
Now with 2020 I think I do the same, but Im not sure>
The backup is a drive back up. symbol of the backup is: is a HDD (not a folder icon)
Why I doubt: the TIBX file is only 78 GB, the C drive is 480GB used. I can understand the compression, but so much?
I can try a recovery to a new HDD, But may this form can help me to be sure the image is good.

Hi Steve,
It is on a W7 Ultimate machine.
I have 3 HDD. Only th C drive (a 600 GB HDD) is my singel system drive.
The HDD properties say 480 GB used, just like explores says when selecting "computer".
Some screendumps added...

I Steve, I think we must set this issue on hold.
I't is strange.. I removed about 40 G of data from the C drive. And as a result I have more than 200G extra free space.. Seems the free space counting did something wrong...
I m now making a new HDD image. I ll check that size..

Marien, I would recommend doing a CHKDSK /F for each of your partitions which will identify and fix any issues with the file system that can lead to incorrect free space calculations.
