TI 2020 constantly phoning home on port 7774

Thread needs solution

Hello!

I am using True Image 2020 for local backup only. No active protection (disabled), sync (disabled), mobile backup, cloud backup, or non-stop backup is being used.

Some acronis component is constantly phoning home on port 7774. I dont see this port specifically listed anywhere in the official Acronis Firewall Ports doc

Any "communications between components" should be strictly local and not touch the firewall. This happens constantly, even when the TI backup interface is not running. There are no scheduled backups. Only manual backups are used.

John, have you identified what actual Acronis process or service is using the port 7774 here?

The only mention that I can find of ports in this range being used apply to the Acronis Cyber Cloud product / application.
