True Image 2020 - Password Protect User Interface on Windows

Thread needs solution

Is it possible to restrict access (password protect?) the True Image 2020 user interface?
And/or, is it possible to stop auto-login to online account web pages opened via the interface (e.g. online dashboard, browse my data, my account, etc.)?

Currently the interface can be opened without restriction by any Windows admin account where True Image 2020 is installed. I realise the interface cannot be opened by UAC restricted accounts, but of course this does not apply to admins.

Also, while inside the interface, aside from full unrestricted access to the backups, the 'Online Dashboard' can be accessed via the 'Account' tab, which when clicked, opens a web page with no requirement to enter any credentials. This allows full account access, including the ability to delete the entire account!

Hopefully, I have just missed the settings to enable interface protection, otherwise this appears to be a critical security omission to project our backups/Acronis account.

David, welcome to these public User Forums.

Put simply, the answer to your question is no!  ATI (all versions) is a primarily home user application rather than intended for a business / multi-user system one.

If you have a system with multiple Admin level users, then each of these can run ATI tasks and if ATI is signed in with your Acronis account credentials, can access information about all backups created for that account.

One option here is to sign out from your Acronis account and restrict other users to having non Admin level Windows accounts, but how feasible / workable that is in your environment is for you to judge?

I would recommend submitting Feedback direct to Acronis via the tool provided in the ATI Help section.
