View Individual Files in *.tibx File
Just recovered from a catastrophic hd crash with much frustration but finally got my system back up and running. Previous to the crash, I could double click on a *.tibx file in Win 10 File Manager and it would bring up a window with a file manager like interface where I could access all of the individual files contained in the *.tibx file. After re-imaging the backup file onto the new hd, now when I double click on any *.tibx file, it just opens up the TI 2020 interface with no way to access the individual files on the backup.
I _desperately_ need to access multiple, individual files from several *.tibx and *.tib backup images and other than re-imaging every single backup I have and copying the individual files to a thumb drive, I cannot find a way to do it. I've spent the last day or two hitting Google and just have not had any luck. I'm absolutly convinced there is no "setting" selection within the app that I can select to give me a "file manager" type view.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Steve,
Thanks for trying to help but no joy. I ended up re-imaging over 12 seperate *.tibx files to get the files I needed. _Exceedingly_ frustrating experience, to say the least. I tried both a Repair Install and a Uninstall/Re-Install as Admin and while I can view *.tib files in Windows Explorer, all of my backups with a tibx extension still insists on opening up the TI app, which on by 10+ year old computer takes 10-15 seconds, with absolutely no option to restore individual files.
Any other ideas?
Again, thanks for trying to help but this situation has probably been the single worst backup experience I've ever had. It's the very first time since I think TI 2005 that my backup system has failed so miserably.
Thanks again,
Mark

Mark, I have just tested this issue on a Win 10 system with ATI 2020 and all is working fine for opening .tibx files in Explorer.
My thoughts at this point is that you may have security software that is preventing the correct interaction from Explorer for when clicking on .tibx files? I am just running Windows Defender and no other security applications.
