Need suggestion about my pc migration

Thread solved

Due to some reasons, I need to move to another place while not being able to move my whole PC to the new place. I plan to build a new pc with all new hardwares but plugging in all the old drives including the system drive. What should I do to ensure that all the drives can work with the new hardwares?

If you are using Windows 10 driver support is good so you may be able to swap the dives into the new case. However, you may have trouble activating Windows. If you are risk averse, buy the new PC with a OEM version of window, load it up and activate it. Then swap in the old system drive. It will need to be for the same “version” of Windows, for example Window 10 Pro x64.

there many also be issues activating some of your software.

there will be other things to consider which I am sure other will post.
