Thread needs solution

Dear Forum Members,

I have a 4 "small SATA drives" with 11 directories.  I have a SYSTEM IMAGE Aconis 2021.

Looking forward to use a single "NEW" SATA DRIVE 2TB preserving the same DIRECTORIES

My BACK UP is an ACRONIS TRUE IMAGE BACK UP 300,000 KB

I am thankful for some light! to my question,

Thank You,

Simha

Simha, welcome to these public User Forums.

Are all your current 4 or 5 SATA drives backed up to a single ATI 2021 .tibx archive file?

Does any of these SATA drives include your Windows OS?

If you are wanting to consolidate from your current 4 or 5 SATA drives to a single 2TB SATA drive, then you will probably need to do this in stages!

First restore your Windows OS drive to the new 2TB drive, then remove all the original drives and install just the new 2TB drive in place of the OS drive.  This should be the SATA0 drive so you may need to identify which of your small drives is the OS drive!

Test that the 2TB drive on its own, will boot into the OS without any issues.

Once you have Windows booting from the 2TB drive, then you can restore the directories from the other SATA drives to that drive from your .tibx backup image by using the option to restore Files & Folders instead of the options for Disks or Partitions.
