Echo Server Build 8398 E-mail Notification Problem

Thread needs solution

As a lot of you probably know Frontier bought out Verizon. This required two small changes to the smtp settings. 1) instead of outgoing.verizon.net it is now smtp.frontier.com and 2) the email address changed from email@verizon.net to email@frontier.com Pretty simple but Echo Server has a problem with it. It keeps telling me my e-mail settings are incorrect.

I have Outlook set up on the same box. I made those two small changes to both Outlook and Echo Server. Outlook took the changes and can send without a problem. Echo Server quit sending e-mail notifications because the "e-mail settings are incorrect".

Anyone know of a fix? I have tried creating a new job from scratch. No joy.

Still looking. Supposidly all frontier did was change the name of the mail server. Doesn't work.
