0xc000000e "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible." new situation

Thread needs solution

Using Acronis True Image Home v.10, I tried to clone a SATA 500 G drive 1 partition onto an older external USB SATA 500G 1 partition drive using Win 7 Ultimate N OS . As well, I cannot find my win 7 rescue disk, only the ISO file.
When I selected clone disk and it did recognize both drives, and it rebooted by computer, I got the error msg: 0xc000000e :The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible." Then it goes in a loop of two pages but never allows win 7 to come up. I tried the Acronis bootable rescue media free version (my paid version is on the unbootable computer) to boot the problem computer but I got the same error and two pages but no win 7.
I think what happened is that when my C (main) drive on my computer re-booted in a locked status for cloning, either it then was unable to recognize the target drive for cloning and/or the MBR got corrupted.
How can I unlock my C drive from this locked cloning process and cancel the cloning process and boot my main drive C on my computer as normal?
Thank you.
