1 image multiple windows setup possible ?
Hi guys ! I am new here and I am from Turkey.
You all have to look the image in the attachment. You know there is Windows CD'S which includes all versions. For ex. Ultimate/Prof./Home Premium (32-64 bit editions) and all of this versions in one DVD. Just 4.37 gb there is 9 windows version.
Now we talk about the project. Can we make a image which we can select the os version. For ex. I will setup windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I will back up. And I will setup windows 7 professional 64 bit after that and I will backup again. And acronis will compare this images. There is lots of same files. Acronis just keep one of these files. But while recovery acronis will ask us which version(or image) will you setup. İs it possible ?

Bilal,
No, each OS will have to have its own task, unless I've misunderstood you.
How have you installed the other versions of Windows, as their own partitions or as virtual drives in VHDs?

Hi Mr. Colin. First I thank for your quick reply.
I will say you what I want to do. Think about it.
First I will install Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit (without creating 100 mb part.you know this is possible). And I will backup this operating system.
Second I will instal windows 7 Professional (without creating 100 mb part again.) And I will backup again.
Now the question is coming ... İs it possible while creating second backup : Acronis will compare file differences between to backup. İf the same file exist in both backup acronis will take just one of the file. And while I want to recover from image it will ask me wihch image you want to recover. I will select first one for ex. İt will recover windows 7 ultimate backup. İf I select the second one it will recover windows 7 prof. İs it possible ?

Hi,
To be honest I'm not sure what will happen, I think because the drive will have changed sector information between your different installs, True Image will make a new full, even if you select increment and use the same task.
I'll have to think and see if there is a way to do what you are asking.
