Acronis 2010 True Image Home Bootable USB

Thread needs solution

Hello. I have True Image 2019, and use it for most purposes. However, I also have a bootable CD of the 2010 version that I'll use from time to time when 2019 doesn't cooperate for one reason or another. I'd like to put that on a USB drive, but when I've tried to use products like Rufus or ISO2USB, the process to create the boot USB disk fails. Has anyone had any success making a bootable older version Acronis USB disk with only the ISO file of a boot CD?

Thank you very much in advance!

Gregory, welcome to these public User Forums.

From what I can tell from looking at the contents of the ATI 2010 ISO it does not contain a Linux type boot media that could be used to create a bootable USB drive with Rufus or Iso2Usb etc.

You would need to have a copy of ATI 2010 installed and use the Rescue Media Builder tool from within the application to create a USB rescue stick.  The ISO is for a CD image only.

Thank you for your reply, Steve.

I agree, that appears to be the only solution I could discern. But, I was hoping someone had found a workaround. You are probably right, that there is no other option.

Thanks again for your time!
