Acronis back ups are easily corrupted: this should be fixed

Thread needs solution

I just started using Acronis 2014. One big problem: the software is not at all resilient in making sure that the back up it is creating is uncorrupted. Example: I bought a multibay USB hard drive. It turns out when I put a new drive in the unit, all of the drives are temporarily (like 1 second) disconnected.

Now, it turns out I had Acronis running a back up to one of these drives when this happened. Acronis did not report an error but I decided to do an integrity check (which takes hours) and it turns out there WAS an error. Thus, I assume that if the targetd drive is temporarily disconnected, Acronis has no ability to either a) inform me of the problem or b) even better sense the issue real time and solve it.

I understand the importance of verifying the integrity of backups, but it would be helpful if the software was better at stopping corrupted backups in the first place. Does not give me tons of conviction in the software.
