JPS55,

I do not have Acronis Backup & Recovery so someone else will have to help you.
Can you provide more information about what procedures you have attempted.
If you are getting an Acronis Boot Loader message, maybe the CD is still in the tray.

Did you try to perform a backup and then try to do a restore?

Did you perform a complete backup of your system disk to include all partitions?

Grover,

He's not using ABR, he's using TI2009.

JPS55,

As Grover said - Have you left the CD in the tray? Also, have you installed/activated the Acronis Startup Manager?

You say several attempts, and then " after a restart ", what exactly were you trying to do, was this orginally from within Windows or always from the rescue CD?

What build of TI 9?

Hello,
I Haven't left the CD in the tray. Yes, I,have activated the Acronis Startup Manager because it ask me to do it. I was installing whit Windows a zone security. I don't find the built.

Thank you

To find the build number with 2009, you have to press the ALT key, then the normal Help\About menu appears at the top.

What OS are you using?

Boot from the CD and de-activate the ASRM, this should allow you to be able to boot back into Windows. Something seems to have gone wrong in either making the Secure Zone or activating the ASRM.

You don't need to use the SZ unless you don't have another hard drive you can image to.

Hello,

Colin and GroverH: thanks for your assistance.

JPS55, let me provide you with one more workaround. You can de-activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager by restoring Master Boot Record the following way:

Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 Installation CD

Boot the computer from the installation CD, start Recovery Console and run fixmbr and fixboot commands.

Further information is available at:

Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation CD/DVD

Boot from Windows Vista installation disc, select language and keyboard or input method, click Next and choose to Repair your computer. Then you will need to select the operating system that you want to repair. In the System Recovery Options dialog box click Command Prompt and type the following:

Bootrec.exe /FixMbr
Bootrec.exe /FixBoot

If you want to completely rebuild Windows Vista Boot Configuration Data, then you should issue the following command:

Bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd

This command scans all disks for installations that are compatible with Windows Vista. Additionally, this option also allows select the installations that you want to add to the Boot Configuration Data store.

Hello

Thank you all of you for your help, but for now my hard drive Samsung Sata is locked and I'm working on another hard drive and backup over a month ago. So I can't make any operation that caused the blockage, the hard disk rotates in a vacuum. I am inquiring for Samsung and get back to you later.

Thank you, bye
