Acronis Cloud

Thread needs solution

Hi,

Versions with Acronis, if I want to keep 2 versions
So does that mean that if I create a word document, and then save it. Edit it 3 days later it would keep both versions?

What do they mean by "Delete versions that are older than" say I chose 1 day and keep no more than 1 version. Would that delete all files or just keep the latest version on the server until I change that file?

Here is what I am looking to do:

Backup data, just 1 copy of the most recent file.

Hello Shawn,

Thank you for posting!

Shawn, you can create the full backup of the word document. After you will add some changes in it you can create the incremental backup of the file. As a conclusion you will have backup of two versions. Please take a look at this article where you will find complete information for creating the backup that you require.

"Delete versions that are older than" is the option in the cleanup settings for Acronis Cloud. Using this option you will be able to automatically delete all other versions of backup except the most recent one. For more information, about "Delete versions that are older than" option please follow this link. So if you want to have just one copy of the most recent file, you can use this option.

Shawn, if you have other questions concerning Acronis software, please let me know.

Thank you!

The first link you suggest covered backups to disk. Are you saying the setting applies globally to all Cloud backups as well?
