Acronis completley oblivious?
Here is some food for thought. Is it just me or has anyone else seen what appears to be 'Acronis reps' (forgive me if this is incorrect) saying they will pass on feedback about our various gripes. Now, there have been many (MANY) posts by 2015 users about various issues and flaws with the new product so my question is, if feedback was passed on (as was mentioned in the various threads), then how the hell did this product get released 'as is'?
Sorry, but it really got me thinking, after all these years why on earth would a business want to ignore what appears to be some of it's loyal base who have legitimate complaints? What ever the reason, I like many on here are not only annoyed by this 2015 version, but shocked that it would be released as is after having so much feedback passed on.

I would have thought the idea of releasing the product early to those who have already purchased 2014 would have been for feedback. Being the amount of negative comments and that they were apparently passed on, I thought this in turn would have been enough reason for Acronis to delay the release until it was fixed.

After playing with 2015 for a week and looking at the features that were omitted, I am strongly considering switching to Casper.

Personally, I like the new simplified design. I never used features other than full, independent backups. And I like to manually manage the backups.
The only thing I see missing is the compression level. It seems to be missing from the performance pane.

I was disappointed with the removal of the advanced features of the new version of acronis. I would like to see the "Try & Decide" compatible with UEFI partitions, but instead, functionality Acronis removed this functionality :-(
I think that it's good to simplify the product for basic users, but should keep advanced options for power users. advanced users are mostly who purchase the product, and those advanced users will be disappointed with it.

Nothing is likely to change until the first update.
Those of us who have been using 2015 before todays launch have only had the program for around a week, so apart from a minor addition to the installer (the Universal Boot Media), there is no way that a week worths of comment will result in a new build.
This is the analog to the story of the Little Dutch Boy who plugged a leaky dike with his finger until help arrived. You nip the problems in the bud before they turn into a full-blown disaster.
I know you probably do not have access to numbers, but from what I'm seeing on the fourms, ATI 2015 may turn into that leaky dike for the company.
And the boys know it.

I think it is beyond a leak. This product doesn't work for a great number of people. Some of us have requested and received refunds. When you release a partially or non working product...that isn't a leak. The dam is about to burst! We all trusted that Acronis was going to release another working version. Violation of trust...I guess they have enough money within Acronis to not care about loss of business...
