Acronis TI Home 2010 Error Code

Thread needs solution

Hi.
I am trying to schedule a full partition backup followed by incrementals. The Initial full executes with no problem. The first incremental give the following error in the email log.....

1 Error 1/27/2010 11:10:09 PM No such script '5B36C565-1AB1-4F9D-9E5A-B374DBC7254B'.
2 Warning 1/27/2010 11:10:09 PM Failed to process pair script:5B36C565-1AB1-4F9D-9E5A-B374DBC7254B.
3 Error 1/27/2010 11:10:09 PM Operation has completed with errors.
BTW......
I am saving archives to an external drive and I am re-naming the default archive name for easier identification.

Hello Danny,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to give you a clear explanation.

There are two possible causes:

  • You are trying to run an Acronis True Image task under a Windows user account different from the one the task was created;
  • The original task script (*.tis) was removed from the Scripts folder:

Windows XP: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

Windows Vista: Program Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

If the task exists, try running it under the same Windows user account under which it was created.

If the task is removed, you can unregister it from Acronis Scheduler to get rid of the error entries.

Unregistering all tasks from Acronis Scheduler

  1. Download and extract the following archive:
  2. Run the script_fix.vbs file.

(!) This will remove all scheduled tasks.

Unregistering separate tasks from Acronis Scheduler

  1. Open the operation log of Acronis True Image;

(!) To view the operation log, in the main window of the program select Tasks and Log in Acronis True Image Home 2010 or Show Log in any other version of Acronis True Image.

  1. Find the respective error entry and note the name of the mentioned script. For example:

Error 1 108 (0X1006C) 10/29/2008 12:09:02 No such script "90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4"

  1. Download Acronis Scheduler Manager from http://download.acronis.com/support/schedmgr.exe
  2. Run the schedmgr.exe file and issue the following command:

get list

  1. In the list of displayed tasks, note the number of the script that has the same name as the one that produces error entries in the log. For example:

1-3 ~*TrueImageNotify* /dummy / script: "90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4" /uuid: "90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4"

  1. Issue the following commands:

task [Script Number]
task delete

For example:

task 1-3
task delete

If there is more than one task that produce error entries, repeat the procedure for each of them separately.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

Hello Dmitry. Thank you for your help.
When i try to run the fix.vbs file i get an error.
Error: the system cannot find the file specified.
Code: 80070002
Source WshShell.Exec

Please note that the full backup runs fine and that a subsequant process that follows fails....AND that the backups are save to an external drive labeled /Y.

I then tried to run the scheduler manager.....
i got a command prompt with blinking cursor only (no directory) and it would not let me type "get list".

Thank you again for your help.
Danny

Hello Dimitry, I am having the same problem as Danny, when I try to open the script_fix.vbs file it says there is an error. It appears you replied to Danny with a fix but it is not showing. Are you able to give me the fix please?

My problem is that the task I scheduled runs fine, including validation every 3 days at 6p.m., but on the same days at 3 p.m. Scheduler runs a task which fails. I want to delete this task as it makes my calendar go red for these days saying there has been a failure. Error is 1326.

Please can you help? Thank you. Yeldarb

I have followed the Acronis Moderators instructions to remove script errors but when I enter I get the following msg: Eror 15000 (0x3A98) - Task or wait item not found. However the task is still shown in the list and the bogus backup still opens and fails daily as soon as I switch on my PC.

in line 2 #6 above it should read:
"when I enter task delete I get the following msg:......... etc.

Hello David,

Thank you for your post. I will do my best to help you.

Do you mind trying the solution from this KB article? Please check the part where you can remove a separate task.

If you need additional help please let me know.

Thank you.

Thank you Anton - issue now resolved by following instructions in the KB Article - don't know why it didn't work on the first two or three occasions I tried!
