Acronis TIH 2013 will not backup to Networked computer

I know this has been discussed many times but could not find a clear answer on how to fix it in my search. I also had the problem a couple of years ago got it fixed but now have come across it again. I currently have two networked computers, both running Win 8 64Bit and ATIH 2013. Prior to updating to Win 8 I was able to back up the one computer to the other over my home network. Now whenever I attempt to backup I get the Access to the specified file is denied: \\?\UNC\Basement-pc\i\Den_C_Drive_BU_full_b1_s1_v1.tib error message (Event code: 0x00040014+0x0000FFF0+0x80070005).When I test the connection it connects ok. I also tried substituting the computers actual IP address in place of the computer name but then I when I test the connection will not connect. All drives on both computer have the correct permissions set as I can read and write to them from either computer. What am I missing?
