Acronis True Image 2011 with plus pack

Thread needs solution

Have an HP desktop (out of warranty) that the motherboard has failed parts or failing (wont stay running long enough to install Acronis) Have a few other computers with acronis true image home 2011. One also has plus pack on it.

I do not have a .tib of the hp computer.
Have a replacement board, cpu, and ram to replace the failed HP hardware.
Dead Computer
windows vista amd phenom cpu
8gb ram
640gb hdd

New Hardware
2nd gen i3
4gb ram
(vast options of target hdd)

What steps do I need to take to get this running as soon as possible without reinstalling windows?

I also have access to a technet sub, if that will help with options

You don't have a backup? That eliminates any chance of restoring a backup. IF you think the machine works well enough to make a backup do that, then restore following the appropriate entry under Grover's guides.

IF you can't make a backup, then I'd recommend a fresh install, which will probably turn out to be faster than trying to save time avoiding a fresh install.

System works ok, the motherboard is just overheating and crashing, reinstall of windows would take more time if you include all the applications and reconfiguration that needs to happen. Anything else any startup repair tips or anything that I am overlooking?

Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Of the point but did your check you fans? Then open the case, point a desk fan at the MB and make a full backup according to the Grover Guides concerning migrating to a diff machine--you might have to hunt for the right stuff but it should be in there. Heck, since you're tearing he machine apart after the backup, I'd probably make two, just for luck.
