Acronis True Image 2014 clone locks up on copying mbr

I am trying to clone a disk to a new one booting off a CD of Acronis True Image 2014. Everything goes fine until there is one second left and it goes to copy the MBR. It just sits there forever. If I cancel there, could I just re-write the MBR from a Windows XP CD?

Tried to see if I could do above, but found that the disk booted fine. Not sure why it hung up.

Hi this is happening to me I get to one second to go then it just says restore failed. it then destroys the MBR and I was unable to restore the MBR from my windows 7 DVD

It also destroyed my other partitions on my hard drive and I had to start all over again with my laptop recovery dvd
