Acronis True Image 2014 not responding when started

Thread needs solution

Running on Windows 8.1 64 bit PC.
My backups are working, but when I click on the Acronis icon to view the status of my backups, the software indicates "not responding."

Same here and I tried the 2015 trial w9ithy same result. THey blew it big time. Some change to Windows 8.1 has caused this and they did not do a good test is my opinion. Know I am stuck and have to go back to the inferior Windows IMAGE. At least that works. I suppose I could use the bootable disk, yeaahhh right.

Restore of an image still works thank god.
