Acronis True Image 2014 Prem: problem with recovery disk
Hi all,
Creating images of the Win7Ultimate OS is no problem at all. However, when I boot to the Acronis rescue DVD > Recover > My Disks, choose my backup, select the item to recover, I notice the following:
1/ NTFS (GRAPHICS-SSD) (C:) - Pri - 111.7 GB - Used 20.48 GB
2/ NTFS (System Reserved) (G) - Pri, Act - 100MB - 24.52 MB
3/ MBR and Track 0
When I choose Recovery method, (Recover whole disks and partitions), click Next, Select the items to recover and choose 1/ (above), the next page (Specify recover settings of Partition C), that page is, more often than not, empty, IOW nothing is selected.
Sometimes the above page is empty (nothing selected) and sometimes the page shows drive (G) instead of (C). Choosing a new location (C) still finally shows (G) in the final summary before the restore process.
Perhaps someone knows what's going on, or how I can end up with (C) when I choose (C).
I don't know the function of the (G) partition or how it came to appear there.
Hopefully...thank you!
