Acronis True Image 2014 UI/Window Focus issue

I've been having issues with 2014 since I began using it several months ago. Whenever I close the backup settings window of the back by clicking "Save," the Acronis window starts to flash in and out of focus rapidly for several minutes - rendering it unusable until it stops. No Event Viewer errors that show anything is wrong.
