Acronis True Image 9 Does Not Recognize Hard Drive

Thread needs solution

I need help.

Need to reimage the entire hard drive from my Acronis True Image 9 backup file. When booting from the Acronis CD the software does not recognize the hard drive. It does recognize the hard drive when starting Acronis after Windows boots. The system is an HP-Pavillion desktop running Windows XP. I have researched this site and tried:

1. Used my system Recovery CDs to Format and Recover
2. Removed the Antivirus that was loaded from the recovery disks
3. Searched to see if HP Backup and Recover was installed (System info) and did not find it.
4. Downloaded and installed the latest Acronis drivers

My Acronis image files are on USB drives, which it finds and recognizes.

Thanks in advance

If that hard drive is Sata, then you need to have the drivers added to the bootable CD. The latest version, 2010, which you can download as a Trial, may already have them.

Dear Mr.Tarun,
I preceded as if there was a crash, my CDs and hard drives was seen. Not MY USB hard drive.
When I purchase this program, your program indicate it would recognize MY USB hard drive
