Acronis True Image and Bootcamp ( iMac)

Thread needs solution

I understand from post http://forum.acronis.com/forum/4692, that current version is not able to run under Apple Bootcamp environment ( Vista Business ), in which I made just the same experience. Would it be good enough to attach a local USB stick, so TI finds a valid drive ? Reason for asking ( can try myself later this month) is that my customer does not want to back up any local data, but selected data from a NAS to another NAS or other network drive, which at least from marketing material should work fine..... This is not a domain controlled network, just mapped drives....

Believe it or not. The problem can be overcome by just attaching a USB-Stick of whatever size just to satisfy Acronis TI when looking for a valid drive during start-up. Stick must be attached before launching Acronis.
Then you should be able to perform whatever task you like.
Note: I have not done any experiments with the Apple partition or with the bootcamp stuff, just wanted to backup external drives on the local network.
