Acronis True Image Home 2010

Thread needs solution

I use Acronis True Image Home 2010 (I know its not supported anymore) And just re installed it to clone my hard drive. I got a bigger one. Going from a 500GB to a 1TB. The issue at hand here is that Acronis see's my new hard drive as a 2TB and not 1TB. Thought ok maybe its a bad drive..... Returned it same thing. So i got out one of my old 500GB drives and it still see's any hard (other than my main drive) as a 2TB drive. Any ideas? Its a brand new drive.

Another thing is, I used the software a few days ago to clone my other computer and noticed the same thing i honestly didn't pay that close attention to it. But when I cloned my main drive in another computer to a new one everything went smooth until it copied the MBR and just errored every 2 seconds. I clicked on ignore and left it finish and used my windows 7 disk to repair the MBR and it boots up just fine like nothing happened... Any ideas here?

I also thought I could save my backup of my hard drive (100% complete system back) as an image and then mount it to another hard drive in case mine goes bad. I didn't get that option to do this.

A re-installation of 2010 not needed. Many of us prefer to use the TI Recovery CD when performing a restore or clone. Using the CD, the source disk is not in danger of a user or hdwe mistake.
