Acronis True Image Home V11 has stopped working on Vista Laptop. OK on Win XP

Thread needs solution

I have successfully been using my Acronis True Image Home V11 for quite some time. All of a sudden, it is not working to back up on my Vista Laptop. It either jumps to 99% and does not complete or it shows process started but doesn't move off of 0%. I have to go in and manually delete the process to try again. I am just trying to back up my email, and Documents so nothing too technical. Any thoughts would be appreciated. It is working just fine on my Windows XP desktop. I have tried to do the back up on multiple target locations, both external and internal.

If it is a scheduled backup, most likely there is a scheduler malfunction. The scheduler is a component responsible for scheduling backups. Please check this article for a solution.
