Acronis True Image Hot Issues

Thread needs solution

I just upgraded to TI 2009 from TI for Home V11.  I have Vista Ult 64 bit installed with 4GB of RAM.  It seems to work for a while as I'm going through the panels to schedule a new Backup, but it eventually dies a horrible death.  The attached file is what is reported in the Application Events.  I am not given the opportunity from the support web site to submit an email to request support.  I get 4 options.  The first 2 are the knowledge base and the support forums links, and the other 2 links are the pay for support options.  Any help I can get to fix this error would be greatly appreciated.  I really like the Acronis Home products.  Because TI Home V11 worked so well, I didn't lose any data after a recent HD failure.

Better to post this in the general True Image forum.

Does the advise in http://kb.acronis.com/content/1518 for scheduled tasks that do not run apply to all builds of ATI Home 2009?  Or is there some point that the fix has been incorporated into the build?

Just installed ATI 2009 on brand new clean working XP Pro system I built for my Uncle. As most new programs require, I did a restart per the request of ATI 2009 and now getting NTLDR missing error. Please note, I have not done anything other than the initial install from the retail CD. I have a lot of work on this system that I do not want to do over. Can anyone offer a quick, painless solution to get my OS back please?

Do you have more than one hardrive in the system? It is possible that your PC is booting from the wrong drive.
