Acronis UEFI loader

Thread needs solution

Hi all,

Suddenly I´ve noticed thah on boot start up Acronis UEFI Loader is activated and I have to choose between 3 options:
1 -Start Acronis True Image 2014
2 -Start some information screen
3 -Boot normally
Acronis Startup Recovery Manager is not activated on my PC.
I´m not conscious of having done something to activate this loader and I´m not interested in this. Please, any information about how to get rid of this boot behaviour.

Best regards from Spain

Javier

Did you initiate a recovery or something?
If not, from ATI, go to tools and toggle ASRM back and forth, rebooting inbetween...
If you did start a recovery, you might have let the process run enough for ATI to modify the boot records and get ready for the reboot into the pre-Windows environment...

Thanks for your answer. Having tried sometimes as you suggested, Acronis UEFI loader appears in every reboot. As far as I know, I never have started a recovery. Would it be necessary enter the Bios setup to change settings there?, have anyone try it?

Please consult your motherboard or system manufacturer manual for bios boot settings. You should be able to specify which UEFI boot files are recognized at start up or to designate that only the OS UEFI boot file is used at start up of machine. You will need to access advanced bios configuration options in the bios to have access to these settings. The steps to do that should be outlined in your documentation.

In addition to Enchantech recommendations, you could try to repair the startup of your computer using the Windows installation DVD.

Thank you all.

Problem is solved: my pen drive was accidentally left disregarded in a USB port of mi PC, and it contains a copy of an Acronis Boot Disk, then my BIOS Setup has UEFI devices as higher priority.
