adding comments to a backkup
Hello,
I have Acronis True Image 2009 installed on one computer and I will sometimes use the comments section and add some notes / comments for myself about that backup. Am I missing something or can't this be done with the 2011 version. I tried searching the manual for it as well as the help section and did find some information on comments but nothing on how to add any prior to the backup being made.
TIA

Thanks for letting me know. I will have to look for that once this current backup is done. Could you please be so kind as to tell me how I get to the screen that you are showing so that I can add any comments I may want to include for that backup.
Thanks So Very Much

From inside your backup task, choose the "Explore & Recover" option which will open into the same view as above.

Hello Again,
I really do hate to be a bother but I have another question regarding adding a comment. I did get to the screen shown by clicking on explore all backups (since the explore and recover option is not there in the 2011 version). When I click to explore all backups it does bring me to the screen you showed but it opens up toe the files and folders tabs and no matter what I do I cannot get the disks and partitions tab to open up. My backup was created of the entire drive not just some folders and files and in the folders and files tab it does not show the backup that I just created either. If I do click on the section in files and folders that says My Computer all that does is open up the c drive on the computer - I cannot see the external drive that the backup was just made to (not 10 minutes earlier).
So how do I get that other tab to open up for me? I have even tried closing the program and then opening it back up but it still will not allow me to select the disk and partitions tab nor will it open up to it (and I did use the Disk and Partition Backup option to create the backup).
Thanks so Very Much

Here are a couple examples of using 2011 to access the backup files to see or edit comments. Image content not specific to your problem but shows available options.
If the available tasks do not list your backups, you may have to use the "Browse for backups" option and add the backup files (right click on *.tib there) to the the backup list.
