ATH 2014 Backup fails after 90% complete

Thread needs solution

Hi all,
I'm using ATH 2014 Premium and have been trying to get my machine to do a complete backup for months. I've reinstalled several times, doing a clean install each time using the removal tool for the removal of the version.
I'm backing up a 4t drive to a synology 4t raid backup drive. My windows version is 7.
I have attempted the backup numerous times, running for days at a time and have not been successful. The backup fails at about 90% each time. I have run chkdsk to be sure the drive is free from errors.
I'll attach the acronis system report to see if anyone can help. I'm seriously thinking of jumping ship on acronis. That fact that I have been subscribing to acronis for 10 years and have to pay to get support from them is really frustrating.
If anyone has an idea of a solution it is greatly welcomed.
Thanks

Wayne,
I don't know if it would hep but have you tried to do the backup when booted from the Recovery CD?

Thanks Grover, I have not tried that. I'll try that next time I have a couple of days to free up the computer from working. Definitely worth a try. One question, My wifes computer is on the same network. She lost the connection , then used windows to restore the connection. When I checked the progress on my computer, it seems like that is when it stopped backing up, although I can't be sure. I'm by no means an expert with networking, So this evaluation is just a shot in the dark. Any ideas?

There is a high degree of probability that your analysis /cause of the problem is correct. TI tracks the exact path and disk is in each of each backup tasks it creates so any change to those will cause the backup to not begin.

A quick confirmation would be to create a new backup task and if it works, you have the solution.
Making changnes or corrections to an existing task is not a recommendation.

Well, tried all of the above numerous times. After 3 days of backing up, the program failed again. I give up on it. I'll copy all my data to another usb drive and hope for the best til I can clone to a new harddrive. I'll look into other software for a solution.
