ATI 2010 and OS Selector

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have a problem with ATI 2010 and OS Selector (part of the Disc Director Suite 10).
The boot time takes now 20-30 seconds longer than before. When Windows XP SP3 starts, the boot screen appears and the progress bar is running, but for 20-30 seconds nothing happens. After this time the boot progress starts really (activity of the hard disk etc.).
Only with a deactivated OS Selector the boot time is normal again.

Are there any known issues with ATI 2010 and OS Selector?

Hello simplicissimus,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

First of all please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.

Then reinstall OS Selector and see if the issue persists.

Hello,

first of all thank you very much for your answer.

I am using the latest versions of Disk Director Suite and ATI 2010.
I have already deactivated and activated, deinstalled and reinstalled and last but not least repaired the OSS Selector, but the long boot time with the activated OSS Selector lasts.

Every time I deactivate OSS Selector the boot time is normal again.
I have the suspicion that there is a kind of incompatibility between the new version of ATI 2010 and OSS Selctor, that does not exist with ATI 10.

Hello,

with the new version of DD (Build-Nr. 2241) everything works fine now.
The boot time is normal again ...
