ATI 2012 Build #6131 BUG BUG BUG
Why can Acronis not fix this Validation Option - I really doubt they ever will. If they can't fix the small things then how are we to trust them with the bigger things.
No matter what you do in ATI 2012 Build #6131 you cannot get rid of the checkmark on "Validate Backup Regularly" and make it permanent !!!
As soon as you click "Save Settings as Default" it forgets...and the next time you create a backup the tick is there again.
Add to that the total lack of easy to see logs (unbelievable)
I have the same problem backing up e-mails. Everytime I backup, I have to uncheck the box, it does not retain the settings as default. Since I have scheduling turned off, I wonder if it would really validate on it's own. After I backup e-mails, I click edit backup settings to make sure validating is off.
anybody else experienced/fixed this?
I'm seeing it in build 6154 - cannot toggle the "Validate Backup Regularly" checkbox (well, I can toggle it, but the setting doesn't stick when I exit/restart the prog)... I'm sure I've seen this in older versions of ATIH too... hope this can be fixed very soon!
(I even completely uninstalled, wiped reg entries and user profile subdirs before a reinstall - same problem from the get-go)

Even worse, the e-mail-backup-window will not close when I changed something in the settings. I posted a threat here about this, but nobody replied:
